POEM FOR TODAY

“A LOVE I HOLD SACRED” By Nandi Charles ( DEDICATED TO THE WOMEN OUT THERE WHO WANT TO MAKE THEIR LOVE KNOWN TO THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHERS

A soft touch that is as gentle as the blue skies.

A warm smile to greet me, when I come online.

An experience that has only occurred until now

A love quite like no other I have found……..

Both night and day I think of you

In fantasies, daydreams and my daily conversations too.

I just can’t believe that this type of loving has reached my way, don’t you understand, a feeling so pure and genuine was never truly preached upon my soul in any light of the day.

I jump for joy, for this moment calls for celebration of my deepest elation for my manifesto love in my life.

Our stars were always destined to be

I knew from the day you spoke hello to me.

Hey….. but pardon me, for I now recall, that first I had ignored you, you were not interesting at all.

Sooner or later I looked passed that, blinded by your beauty, your qualities were captured in a flash.

I love it, I need you, you bring forth a different side of me.

You need me, we need us, in order to be a stronger force, aiding each other, giving tremendous support where it is due the most.

Maybe it’s your tone of voice or your style of walk, your macho physique or your sexy pair of slanted paws.

It might be the fact that you are responsible, a little over confident and bold. Strong headed and determined at what you do, yet a bit modest and carefree too.

But whatever it is, I love it a lot.

In fact too much if I have not already told the world that.

Somewhere within me I bred the seed of love and life, conceived a combination that was dynamic.

Gave birth to sharing and caring affections added sincerity, trust and honesty and nurtured a relationship which we both want to grow indeed.
